  • Overview

    This position directs the activities of the Financial Accounting Department for North America (NA), Operational Accounting and Cash Flow management. The position is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the balance sheet, P&L and cash flow.


    • Plan and lead the month end and quarterly close process.
    • Responsible for accuracy and completeness of intercompany accounts and global consolidations.
    • Prepare and review global financial statements and key financial metrics.
    • Review and implement financial policies and accounting procedures. 
    • Preparation and delivery of fiscal records, financial reporting, budget controls, and general accounting.
    • Maintain and update SOX compliance.
    • Implement and over see proper accounting treatment according to U.S GAAP.
    • Coordinate and lead in quarterly/ year-end audits and point person with external auditors. 
    • Lead the staff and manage effective operations for the accounting group.
    • Install and maintain internal controls and administer accounting policy.
    • Analyze financial reports and report to senior management including corporate mgmt.
    • Responsible for staff development and mentoring.
    • Responsible for the NA monthly cash flow forecast including analyzing and explaining key variances for both receipts and disbursements.
    • Analyzes and reconciles the indirect cash flow to the monthly direct cash flow forecast.

    Monitors and analyzes NA free cash flow performance to plan including capital expenditures and key working capital accounts/metrics (DSO, DOH and DPO).


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
    • CPA preferred
    • MBA preferred
    • Operational accounting experience required
    • 15+ years of significant finance experience (financial analysis, reporting and financial systems
    • 10+ years manager/director level experiences
    • Experience in managing a team of 10+ people
    • Strong organization, time-management and communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and staff members
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint, experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion is preferred
