Overview

The Information Technology Support Manager supervises a small team (6 people) of outsourced workers who provide helpdesk and deskside support to the Milton, GA campus and remote sites across the United States. The focus is maintaining and improving the process resulting in outstanding customer support and the highest colleague experience.

Responsibilities

Performance Objectives

  1. Partner with current provider of technical support services to evaluate the business needs and evaluate team capabilities in line with ongoing objectives
  2. Conduct a comprehensive operational review of ongoing department activities including processes, systems, methods, and procedures. Document and analyze current processes. Make recommendations to improve.
  3. Review how PCs are delivered and create a series of recommended solutions. Identify the changes required and implement a prioritized action plan to address these issues over the following 6-months.
  4. Review and support other technology projects

Qualifications

You’re the ideal candidate if you have progressed from an individual contributor role on a helpdesk or deskside team and have been a supervisor or manager of a small team over the past 3-4 years. Additionally, you must be comfortable leading teams on switch and server work. This can’t be your first manager position.  But, we’re not seeking someone who has led larger teams or “been there, done that.”  You understand the need to be present and are able to commute daily to the Milton, GA office; relocation support not offered, local candidates are preferred.
