Exide Technologies is opening a new facility near the Kansas City Airport and is searching for production operators with strong mechanical skills, attention to safety and quality, proven attendance record, and great work ethic. Associates will be operating state-of-the-are casting and punch press machinery on a three shift operation. Responsibilities include meeting production goals; following standardized work practices, material handling; quality checks; and embracing lean initiatives.

Able to work extended shifts and weekends as needed.
Able to work inside or outside the plant environment and in all climate conditions. The employee may occasionally be exposed to lead, fume, noise, dirt, hazards, chemicals, heat and cold. Travel as required for training, meeting with regulatory agencies, and to other company sanctioned events.
