This position is directly responsible for managing product development activities for the Transportation –America’s product line. These products may include Flooded, EFB/MHF and AGM products. Primary development focus includes electrochemical, component and material design. The individual will support new product development and market launches to support top line revenue growth as well as projects focused on driving non-value added cost out of the product. This position must be able to interpret internal and external customer specifications and requirements and translate this to a clear and concise program map. This position requires the ability to coordinate cross functional team development as well as to track and monitor project status. This position must work with Sales, Marketing, Quality, Operations and other groups to ensure customer expectations are met. The position will also work with other RD&E staff to assure innovative ideas are leveraged into value to the business. The individual will supervise a group of engineers with varying levels of experience and is responsible for the development of these employees. The position is located in Milton, GA.
